My name is Gwendolyn Stockman. I am an avid UFO enthusiast. I saw a UFO when I was in my teens and it changed my life. I often wonder if I would be different if I had not seen one. I remember my Mom told me to stop being silly when I tried to tell her what I saw. I don't think anyone believed me, and I was not alone when I saw it. A school friend was with me. Afterwards she did not want to talk about it. My friends told me I should stop talking about it.
Well I never did.....

I decided that I am going to keep talking about this subject - and go to UFO conferences and not worry about what my family thinks or my co-workers and friends think. I am at a time in my life where I am not going to continue to hide my lifelong interest in this subject.
Good for you! I have never seen one....YET! I am still lookin! I have often wondered, is it harder to deal with people when you know based on what you have seen or if it is harder when one has Not Seen One? Trivial I know but I still wonder... Sorry to hear your family is reluctant to talk about it? Friends are different, they can come and go but the Family is choosen for us and that is the real issue for me... My father has no time for it, but, he believes in Ghost? My mother believes in Aliens and talks some but not much in depth... Glad to have you in the MUFON Family Sweetheart!
